School Development Survey

School Development Surveys are conducted annually to gather feedback from students, staff, and parents/guardians to inform the school development process. The survey results are used with other data to identify our school’s strengths and challenges. The school will then create and implement a plan to build on successes and address areas of challenge.

The survey is anonymous, which means that we cannot connect your survey responses to you. We encourage everyone to participate so that we have the most accurate representation of family perceptions at our school.

The Family Survey is now available online. Please complete the survey by March 26th, 2021 by clicking on the following link: https://www.research.net/r/SDFamily2021EN.

Once you have completed your family survey be sure to enter your child's name for a chance to win a prize in our of our weekly prize draws. Ms. Anthony shared the link to the entry form in a Google Doc, be sure to send her an email at joanneanthony@nlesd.ca if you need the link.

The following link is to the Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ) About September 2020 document that the NLESD has created. This document will be updated regularly to reflect new or updated information available through Provincial Government/public health sources. As we become aware of changes that pertain to our school we will let you know.

Please note the important updates on the Government of Newfoundland and Labrador NL Safe Schools Screening Questionnaire. Staff persons and students must use this questionnaire daily to decide if they should attend school. Please note that these are questions for you to answer each morning when deciding whether or not your child should attend school, the actual questionnaire DOES NOT need to be submitted to the school. A paper copy of the questionnaire will be sent home with every student on Wednesday. We would suggest posting it somewhere visible so that you can refer to it daily before leaving your home. It is extremely important that students and staff who are not well stay home as it is paramount to the health and safety of all those within our school community.
